Toronto Trek is Canada's largest volunteer-run convention. It was in its 18th edition this year at a new location--the Doubletree International Plaza Hotel.

The 501st Canadian Garrison made their presence known again this year by having one of the largest gatherings of members to date. The troops included: TK551, TK741, TK7273, TB7410, TB7445, TB7742, TR1125, TK2519, TI426, TI829, TK878, TK1605, and BH8311. We also saw the usual attendees: Kropserkle, members of the Toronto Long Line, and SithClan.

We always find this con to be a lot of fun and it was no different this time around. Not only did we spend most of our time at the con trooping around, we had a blast at the dance with Trooper's doing the YMCA! We would like to thank the security guys Sid and "Rat Boy" for escorting us around, thus bypassing the need to peace bond our weapons.
