SFX 2002
August 23 - 25, 2002 : Toronto, Ontario

SFX is part of a large annual convention, which also consists of a comic book con and an anime con.

The 501st Canadian Garrison made their presence known for yet another year at SFX. This year we had Darth "Robin" Vader, back in action after a crippling injury, TD741, TD878, TR1125, TK309CA, TI829 and Jedi avatar. We also met up with some friends from the Toronto Long Line, and Young Jedi Niagara.

This year's Star Wars guest was none other than Billy Dee Williams (Star Wars' Lando Calrissian). Other guests included Nichelle Nichols (Star Trek), Brent Spiner (ST:TNG), John Billingsley (Dr. Phlox from Enterprise), and Chris Owens (aka Agent Spender from the X-Files).

To cap off Saturday's events, members of the Toronto Long Line hosted a dinner social at The Old Spaghetti Factory for the second year in a row.
