New Alliance Con 2001
October 27 - 28, 2001 : Québec City, Québec

In early 2001, the Canadian Garrison was approached by the organizers of the New Alliance Convention, asking if we would be interested in participating in a Star Wars convention in Québec City.

We responded with the presence of TB1124, TB710, TI829, SL215, TX741 and Jedi avatar.

The con was well organized and one of things we enjoyed the most about it was the sheer enthusiasm of the con attendees. The guests -- David Prowse (Darth Vader), Kenny Baker (R2D2), Jeremy Bulloch (Boba Fett) and Femi Tayler (Oola) -- each talked about their experiences. We also got to attend the VIP supper which had marvellous French "haute-cuisine" for which Québec City is famous and of course, there was the dealer's area and impressive collections on display.

We're definitely looking forward to participating in the next New Alliance Convention!
