Toronto Beaches Easter Parade 2003

April 20, 2003 : Toronto, Ontario

"Everyone loves a parade!" Well, some of us do anyway. It's Easter and that means the return of the Beaches Easter Parade. This year, the 501st Canadian Garrison and some of Kropserkel's friends helped out. The ever-present TI829 and TK1605 showed up with TK878 doing his work behind the camera. There was also Scott (Kropserkel) as a Nazgul, Jess as Arwen, Richard as the Moria Orc, and David who put on a great show as Batman. Some members of the Midwest 501st Garrison drove up from the US: Debra, DZ0542 (Andy) & DZ0677 (Kimmy) the sandcouple, Spimmy the sandbaby, and Kia the wonder dog.

I'm happy to report that the weather finally cooperated with us and we had a glorious, sunny day. The 501st was a big hit with parents and children alike and we had a great time. What an excellent way to start the costuming season for us here in Toronto!

Many thanks to Kropserkel for inviting us!!
