"YES!"-- reply by almost everyone when asked "Are you having fun?"

DragonCon... DragonCon, what else can you say? It's DragonCon! A convention like no other. Attendance at this convention is officially 20,000+, with panels, events and parties stretching late into the night and into the early hours of the morning.

What I most enjoy about D*Con is that I get to meet up with friends who I don't normally get to see that often. It's also great to make new friends over the weekend.

This year's trip was especially exciting since it was the largest migration to date of Canadian troopers down to Atlanta. A few of us flew down, but the rest of the Scooby-gang took a 14+ hour road trip there. The 501st.ca also debuted the Canadian Garrison hockey jerseys (designed by TR1125), which ended up being more popular then we had expected!

To clear up a rumour that seemed to float around the convention, I am not associated with the Star Wars Insider magazine. I would love to be paid to take photos for a magazine (hint-hint), but alas, I'll just have to provide highly compressed versions of my photos for your enjoyment here for free.
